Uncensored ai model API Documentation

Drop our uncensored AI model into your existing stack with one configuration change. We provide a direct, OpenAI-compatible API that returns raw text without the usual content refusals.

Base URL

https://api.modelaiuncensored.com/v1

Modeluncensored

Base URL and authentication

The uncensored AI model API lives at https://api.modelaiuncensored.com/v1. You get one active API key per account, issued immediately after signup via Google or email. Pass this key in the Authorization header as a Bearer token. We do not support multiple keys per account, so rotate your key by generating a new one on the dashboard if needed.

First request

Send a standard chat completion request to test the connection. The model id is uncensored. You will receive a direct response without content filtering for lawful topics. This endpoint replaces your existing OpenAI base URL in any client.

curl https://api.modelaiuncensored.com/v1/chat/completions \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "model": "uncensored",
    "messages": [{"role": "user", "content": "return the first ten lines of a json schema for user authentication"}]
  }'

Python SDK integration

Use the official OpenAI Python library to interact with our API. Change the base URL to our endpoint and set your API key. This allows you to keep your existing code structure while gaining access to our uncensored LLM capabilities.

from openai import OpenAI

client = OpenAI(base_url="https://api.modelaiuncensored.com/v1", api_key="YOUR_KEY")

resp = client.chat.completions.create(
    model="uncensored",
    messages=[{"role": "user", "content": "Summarise this thread without softening it."}],
)
print(resp.choices[0].message.content)

Node SDK integration

For JavaScript developers, the OpenAI Node SDK works out of the box. Configure the base URL and API key in your initialization object. This ensures compatibility with your existing TypeScript or JavaScript projects without needing a custom client.

import OpenAI from "openai";

const client = new OpenAI({ baseURL: "https://api.modelaiuncensored.com/v1", apiKey: process.env.API_KEY });

const resp = await client.chat.completions.create({
  model: "uncensored",
  messages: [{ role: "user", content: "Draft a villain monologue for my game." }],
});
console.log(resp.choices[0].message.content);

Streaming responses and token usage

Enable streaming by setting stream: true in your request. We return Server-Sent Events (SSE) for real-time output. The final chunk of the stream contains a usage object detailing the input and output tokens processed. This allows you to track costs accurately as the model generates text.

stream = client.chat.completions.create(
    model="uncensored",
    messages=[{"role": "user", "content": "Tell the story in second person."}],
    stream=True,
)
for chunk in stream:
    if chunk.choices and chunk.choices[0].delta.content:
        print(chunk.choices[0].delta.content, end="", flush=True)

Limits, errors, and context

Our API supports a 100,000 token context window for prompt and completion combined. You are limited to 300 requests per minute per key and a maximum of 8 concurrent requests. If your key is invalid, you receive a 401 error. A 402 error indicates insufficient prepaid credit, while 429 signals you have hit the rate limit.

Common questions

Is this the official OpenAI uncensored AI model?

No. We host an open-weight model tuned for uncensored output, not GPT or any other vendor's model. It is compatible with the OpenAI API format but runs on our own infrastructure.

What happens if I hit the rate limit?

You will receive a 429 Too Many Requests error. The limit is 300 requests per minute per key. You can generate a new key to reset your rate limit counter, as each key has its own quota.

Does the uncensored LLM API support streaming?

Yes. You can enable streaming by setting the stream parameter to true. We return SSE chunks, with the final chunk containing token usage data for billing purposes.
